Preview of Cari and Sean! (more to come)

Cari and Sean! You two totally rocked the house--not only were you guys absolutely brilliant in front of the camera when we were shooting at the temple, but your reception was off the hook! Everybody was dancing like crazy and having a good time--you guys really know how to throw a party! Anyways, I've been really enjoying editing your photos; here is a little preview of what I've got finished so far...Enjoy!

This photo reminds me of a certain scene from It's a Wonderful Life. "What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down..."

All Grown Up!

There are times I don't even realize how grown up my five year-old sister Makela has gotten until I whip out the ole' Nikon and take her picture. She just looks so old to me--like I could blink and she'll be 15! ...Lets hope it takes longer than that--I'm still so enjoying the hugs and kisses hello and goodbye, the sweet things she says and does, and the innocent way she always makes us laugh without even intending to.

So this was a bit of an impromptu photoshoot, and although her hair wasn't combed and there was chocolate on her face, if I had asked her to comb her hair or wash her face, I could have kissed my opportunity at a photoshoot goodbye (she can be a little moody). But I feel that I have captured the essence of her--she isn't the cleanest child in the world, and her hair certainly isn't perfectly brushed and styled every day--but that is what makes her our little Makela. She's more of a hippie than anything else. Enjoy.













PS - this face is a total "me" face! She gets this one from me! I'm so proud! (lol)










With this one, don't ask. I think she runs out of ideas for poses, and this is all she comes up with. Its adorable.

Tanner Christenson's Senior Portraits

Tanner has been one of the most fun and easy-to-work-with subjects I've ever shot--he is so natural in front of the camera, and willing to try really any and all of my suggestions! We got some great shots of this handsome guy. Here are a few of his and my fav's:

Lars & Alyssha's Bun in the Oven...

Meet Lars and Alyssha, a happy couple expecting their first child. Alyssha is ridiculously cute and very pregnant--although you can't tell because she is still so thin! I had the privilege of capturing a small sample of this very special time in their lives. I hope they had as much fun as I did!

The Reception

































Ok I just have to tell you about this little guy--I went up to him, because, obviously, he's adorable...



My first impression was "WOW! Look at those eyes!"



All of the sudden, without any warning at all, he flashed the BIGgest, TOOTHLESSest, most ADORABLE grin I have ever seen! He looks like a handsome young man with no teeth!



So thats it on my spotlight on this little guy...he's going to be a heartbreaker when he's older!

Shes All Smiles....

Allow me introduce you to Ms. Addie Gleason. She is a little over a foot tall, has no teeth, but dons the most BEAUTIFUL smile that you've ever seen! Her two wonderful and amazing parents, Jardin and Ashley Gleason are so blessed to have such a happy and healthy baby. She is absolutely darling, and so happy all the time! Smiles all around!
